La Buena Vida restaurant review – Hondon de los Frailes

I feel guilty not writing this review for La Buena Vida in Hondon Frailes earlier as we’ve been three times and each visit was just as fab as the first.

The restaurant is in a great location with plenty of parking in the nearby streets and it’s been decorated to a very high standard.

I always feel embarrassed on our visits having only tried the 7.95 early bird offer (starter and a main or a main and a desert) with a 2.95 euro supplement for a pudding but It’s unbelievably good value and we all like a bargain. It does feel odd eating so cheaply in such beautiful surroundings and it’s no wonder you have to book.

On each occasion I’ve started off with the pate and the caramlised chutney and it’s definately the nicest pate I’ve tasted. For main I’ve tried the lasagne, chicken breast and the schnitzel and I’d recommend them all.

We’ve recommended this place to many people who have since gone back and the La Buena Vida will be a mandatory for my mums next visit to Spain as she loves the fact the lasagne is stacked rather than sloppy.

Jo and the team are always attentive and their 5 star reviews on Trip Advisor back his up.

This place is a must visit if you’re in the area but don’t forget to book!

(The menu attached in the photo is an example of the early bird menu only and I’m sure the menu will change from time to time)
